Classic Cars
Endsleigh provide cover for classic cars through a specialist classic car insurance scheme. The policy provides solely comprehensive cover for classic cars built pre 1980.
Special rates for safer drivers - Our classic car insurance is designed for drivers with good driving histories. This allows us to keep the insurance rates low. To qualify for our scheme, you must have a minimum of 3 years of no claims bonus, but not necessarily in use on your classic car. This means that you can keep your no claims bonus on your usual vehicle whilst we provide a discount on your classic car (as a second car).
Our policy gives a low mileage discount and we are able to accommodate additional drivers. However, please note that we do not insure drivers under the age of 25 on our classic car insurance policy.
If your classic is your second car and you have not insured it before, most insurers will provide a quote based on a zero no claims bonus. The great news is that Endsleigh will mirror the no claims bonus you have on another car for your classic car.
The policy also gives up to 20% discount depending on the vehicle age.

Car Groups
What are insurance groups, and how do they affect me?
Your choice of car will affect your insurance premium, cars of a higher group will mean a higher premium. Generally car groups indicate the risk to an insurer of covering a particular vehicle. The higher the car group, the higher the premium you will be charged.
As you move up into the highest car groups including luxury and performance cars, certain restrictions will apply. Your excess may well increase and there might be compulsory security and parking requirements.
Different insurance companies use different car group scales and so one vehicle might be quite acceptable to one insurance company but not with another. Endsleigh have a panel of insurance schemes with many variants on how the same vehicle may be rated.
